BAM Properties, a unit under the Dutch construction giant Royal BAM Group, has secured planning permission for a £70m office development, Latitude Yellow, in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK.
Latitude Yellow has been planned to be a fully glazed ten-storey development, which will include 157,000ft² of Grade A office space, along with floor plates of 16,759ft².
The development will be fronting Wellington Road and will feature a double height colonnade along with parking spaces for 69 cars and 92 bikes at its basement.
Planning permission for Latitude Blue, another 119,000ft² office development at the five acre Wellington Road site, has also been secured by the construction company.
The seven-storey Latitude Blue and Latitude Yellow will be suitable for potential occupiers seeking substantial space and larger floor plates, the firm said.
BAM Properties northern development manager Paul Smith said: "The recent upturn in take-up in the Leeds office market was behind our decision to take Latitude Yellow to the next stage.
