Designs have been revealed for MPavilion 2015, which is being built in Melbourne, Australia, and conceptualised by Amanda Levete Architects (AL_A).
The pavilion design also incorporates advanced technology in nautical engineering, created through a partnership with UK-based engineering firm, Arup.

Arup’s Melbourne and London structural specialists collaborated with Naomi Milgrom Foundation, AL_A, and composite and geometry specialist mouldCAM and Kane Constructions for the project, starting from its concept development to evaluation of its current structural review role.
To be constructed in the Queen Victoria Gardens, the pavilion will create the atmosphere of being under a forest canopy.
The temporary structure will be supported by slender carbon fibre columns and feature 3m and 5m-diameter petals with integrated LED strip lighting and in-built amplifiers.
Arup project director Brendon McNiven said: "The design features innovative materials typically used in the aerospace and aeronautical industry that will result in a lightweight, high-strength structure.
"The key structural innovation lies in the holistic and seamless integration of the lighting and audio system within the structure, providing an aesthetic and architectural solution to a common design challenge."
The new pavilion will open to the public on 5 October this year.
