
The Oman Ministry of Health (MOH) is expected to award a main construction contract for two health centres in Bowsher by the third quarter of this year, Zawya reported.
The health centres will be constructed at Al Mudhaybi and Ibra in North Sharqiyah Governorate, Bawshar, Oman.
A source familiar with the details of the project told Zawya: “The tender for the main construction contract was issued on 1 May 2023, and the bid submission is scheduled on 14 June 2023. The bid submission is currently ongoing, and the main contract is expected to be awarded by August 2023.”
The MOH received bids for this main contract from Al Badi Investment Holding Group, Al Hajiry Trading, Al Aqtaab Trading & Contracting, Al-Sharqiya for Real Estate Development and Investment, Assarain International Contracting, Al Tajawab Trading & Contracting, and Al Yam Enterprises.
Al-Nab’a Infrastructure, Dawood Contracting, ALMEST Contracting Company, Al Salsabeel Trading and Contracting, Professionals Trading, Wara Construction Company (Oman), Gulf Emaar Excellence, Mouawad Contracting, and Saif Salim Essa Al Harasi also submitted their bids.
The project is expected to be finished by the end of 2025.
Work under the project will consist of developing and commissioning the Al Mudhaibi and Ibra health centres, along with other related ancillary buildings and infrastructure.
