Metro Public Works has broken ground on the first phase of the Madison Station Boulevard Complete Streets Project.
The work on the Madison Station Boulevard project is divided in to two phases, where the $7m Phase 1 is the roundabout phase from Gallatin/Neelys Bend to Madison Street at Nashville Fire Station 31.
The $5m second phase of the project is the streetscaping phase from Madison Street to Old Hickory Boulevard.
The work on the project involves construction of a new roadway and roundabout that will provide a connection to Gallatin Pike at the Neely’s Bend intersection. It will also address the local connectivity issues in the area.
Upon completion of both phases, Madison Station Boulevard will serve as a pedestrian, bicycle, and motorist connection between Old Hickory Blvd. and Gallatin Pike.
It will also provide access to the adjacent Madison Town Center site, which is positioned for future development.

“The entire Madison community and property owners all the way to Old Hickory Blvd have been anxiously awaiting this day.”
