The Transportation Infrastructure business segment of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction has secured the Dahisar Bhayander bridge construction project in Mumbai within the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) awarded this construction project to L&T.

The project involves the development of a 4.5km bridge that connects Dahisar and Bhayander in the city.

The 4.5km link will feature two different carriageways, a multilevel interchange, and seamless entry and departure points at both Dahisar and Bhayander.

In addition, the development will include two large navigational spans alongside the creek.

Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly minimise the travel time taken between Dahisar and Bhayander. At present, the route takes more than 45 minutes to travel.
