
Real estate firm Hines, along with investment partner MetLife Investment Management, has announced commencement of construction of NorthLight at Edge-on-Hudson, a project offering 246 luxury apartments in New York, US.
The construction loan for the project has been closed with Santander Bank.
The project will provide studio, one and two bedroom apartments ranging from 565 to 1,406ft2.
It will feature a 17,000ft2 outdoor courtyard with a swimming pool, fitness deck, outdoor kitchens, firepits and open green spaces. areas
The project will have two penthouse terraces and a roof deck, an indoor clubhouse with coworking space; a communal kitchen and wine lounge, bicycle parking, pet spa and 427 parking spaces within five-story partially enclosed garage.
It is part of a $1bn phased development, known as Edge-on-Hudson, which is a mixed-use, riverfront community with more than 16 acres of community parks and a 1.5 mile waterfront promenade.

NorthLight at Edge-on-Hudson is located on the Hudson River and is less than half a mile from the Tarrytown Train Station. It is also 25 miles north of New York City.
The project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2022, and the leasing is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2022.
