
Granite has secured two construction contracts on State Highway 288 near Houston, Texas, US.
The two contracts carry a total value of almost $107m.
When combined with the $40m contract awarded in July on a different segment of SH 288, the total value of three contracts on SH 288 stands at more than $145m.
Texas Department of Transportation will fund the two awarded projects.
The latest orders are expected to be included by Granite in its third quarter CAP.
Of the two latest projects, one is focused on SH 288 at Cedar Rapids Parkway, the other project on SH 288 at Dubuque Parkway.

Granite is responsible for building five new bridges, reconstruction and reconfiguration of entry and exit ramps approaching the new structures, and new grade separations.
The company will establish a batch concrete plant to offer material for these projects.
Granite stated that its team has recently completed Grand Parkway Project and is ready to seamlessly transition to the work on SH 288.
Granite project executive Domingo Gonzalez said: “The strong collaboration between our operating and estimating teams was critical to bid day success.
“These adjacent projects are also a chance to continue our successful partnership with the local TxDOT teams on delivering the infrastructure that people need.”
The project will commence in fall of this year, and complete in summer 2024.
