GRAHAM has commenced construction works on Leeds Trinity University’s new facilities at 1 Trevelyan Square in the UK.

The university is investing £8.6m ($10.85m) to repurpose an older office block to accommodate its growing student body and enhance its educational offerings.

This comes after the university secured a lease on a 57,000ft² building located just off Boar Lane in the city in November 2022.

The new higher education facility, which is expected to open later this year, will complement the university’s main campus in Horsforth.

It is intended to facilitate closer collaboration with key partners and employers, supporting the demand for skills in the region.

The site will include a range of facilities and services designed to offer students an environment for learning, experience, and collaboration.

These facilities will comprise a boardroom, trading room, law court, custody suite, and a business engagement centre.

Additionally, specialist labs will be built to support courses in construction, the built environment, and computer science.

GRAHAM contracts director Rick Guest said: “We are thrilled to have signed Leeds Trinity University, and to be working with Procure Partnerships Framework on this project. We look forward to delivering this state-of-the-art, sustainable campus in the heart of Leeds.”

Earlier this month, the company broke ground on a regeneration project for the Lakes Estate in Bletchley, UK.

GRAHAM was appointed by Milton Keynes City Council for the project.
