Ferrovial, via PLW Waterworks, has secured construction contracts for three water treatment plants projects in Texas, US.
The contracts put together are worth $279m.
Georgetown, San Angelo, and Laredo have chosen PLW Waterworks to implement water treatment projects.
PLW Waterworks is a subsidiary of Webber and Cadagua that focuses on waterworks.
Georgetown has awarded a contract worth $175m.

This contract involves construction of a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 18 million liters per day (4.75 MGD) as well as a gravity outfall pipe to transport the treated water to Manadas Creek Tributary 2 in Laredo.
These three projects enhance Spain-based Ferrovial’s Horizon 24 plan, under which US is identified as an important market.
