Edamah has broken ground on its new Sitra Logistics Park to cater to the logistics industry in Bahrain, reported TradeArabia.
The 87,382m2 Sitra Logistics Park includes several facilities for industrial, commercial, and logistical use, which can be customized according to needs of the tenants.
Trident Warehousing, which has signed a 10-year lease agreement for $7m for an 8,137m2 facility, is one of the biggest clients in Sitra Logistics Park.
Edamah will collaborate with Trident Warehousing and its business associate Hoover Circular Solutionsto create a facility designed to meet their technical and operational requirements.
Edamah CEO Amin Al Arrayed was quoted by TradeArabia as saying: “We are excited to officially begin work on a project that is of national strategic importance and aligned with our goal to ‘build for Bahrain’ through the careful selection of projects that contribute to the economy and respond to market needs. The Park will support the kingdom’s growing logistics industry, as well as attract foreign investment and create jobs.”
