Countryside Partnerships, a part of mixed-tenure housebuilder Vistry Group, has signed a new framework agreement with Sigma Capital Group.

Sigma operates in the build-to-rent (BTR) market, specialising in single-family housing.

This agreement will facilitate the delivery of 5,000 new homes for Sigma’s BTR brand, Simple Life Homes, over the next five years.

The new homes will be delivered across various UK regions, complementing Vistry’s Partnerships model.

This model focuses on the delivery of a diverse mix of housing tenures to meet the needs of communities and foster the development of sustainable neighbourhoods.

Vistry CEO Greg Fitzgerald said: “This framework agreement with Sigma is another great example of how our Partnerships model can deliver at scale the mix of housing tenures that residents across the UK desperately need.”

The collaboration is an extension of a longstanding partnership between Vistry and Sigma.

Countryside Partnerships has been a framework partner for Sigma’s BTR programme since 2014.

Sigma CEO and founder Graham Barnet said: “We are delighted to be extending our long-term relationship with Vistry.

“They have been the foundation partner of our BTR single-family housing model since 2014 where we have delivered over 8,500 new family homes across the UK with a delivery cost of £2.25bn [$2.82bn] to date.”

This announcement comes after Sigma unveiled plans last week to construct 865 new homes across 11 locations in the UK, in partnership with Countryside Partnerships.
