Omni Hotels & Resorts has broken ground on Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU in downtown Tempe Tempe, Arizona on the Arizona State University (ASU) campus.
Located at 7 East University Drive in Tempe, the new 16-storey hotel will include 330 guest rooms, four dining outlets, a spacious pool deck and retail.
The property will boast of approximately 36,000ft2 of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space. It will feature one board room, four meeting rooms, two ballrooms and an event lawn.
The new project involves an investment of $125m and is said to be part of a public-private partnership with ASU and the City of Tempe.
It will support the university by hosting university-related meetings and public functions.
The Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU is expected to be open in the spring of 2023.
Other team members working on the project include C+TC Design Studio as architect, Brasfield & Gorrie as general contractor and Monogram at BBGM providing interior designs for the new hotel.
