Real estate developer Aventon Companies has broken ground on Aventon Clearwater, a new 396-unit apartment community development in Clearwater, Florida, the US.

The 22-acre development will be located within the Tampa area submarket near offices of major employers, beaches and shopping destinations.

It will feature ten garden-style buildings with one-, two- and three-bedroom units.

The project will be designed for easy living and will include more than 8,000ft2 of covered amenity space featuring a coffee bar, poolside lounge, an advanced fitness centre and yoga studio and pet spa.

Additionally, Aventon Clearwater will have an outdoor space with a private resort-style pool, cabanas and day beds, an outdoor kitchen, hammock garden, walking trails and a dog park.

The apartment community will be developed by Aventon through a joint venture with Maryland-based private equity firm FCP.

The buildings were designed by Scott + Cormia Architects and the interiors will be finalised by Beasley & Henley Interior Design.
