Clowes Developments has announced the start of the design and build work at Tournament Fields, Warwick, the UK, for Manx Healthcare and a separate unit on the adjacent plot.
Known as TF19, this facility will be available on an all-enquiries basis, marketed by Wareing & Co and Savills.
The purpose-built 26,000ft² industrial/warehouse facility is planned to be built on a 1.25-acre plot known as 8003.
Manx Healthcare marketing manager Laurie Taylor said: “Our continued growth as a major supplier of essential pharmaceuticals and branded healthcare products within the UK, has meant that we have quickly outgrown our current premises.
“Having been located in the Warwick area for over 20 years, this move allows us to retain our loyal workforce, whilst also allowing us to further invest in our warehousing operations and increase our storage capabilities.
“Adjacent to this plot sits an opportunity for a speculatively built unit covering 19,000ft². TF19 will comprise of warehouse/industrial/distribution space, two loading bays and a secure private yard. There will be a 1,100ft² category A fit out of the open plan office area and staff welfare facilities.”
For both the facilities, design and construction works will be handled by Benniman as the contractor.
With groundworks currently underway, occupiers are planning to move into their brand-new premises as early as March next year.
Warwick District Council councillor Moira-Ann Grainger said: “At WDC we are very pleased to see the creation of another unit at the Tournament Fields business park in Warwick.
“This development is proof of how modern facilities and a great location provide the right environment for companies wishing to relocate or expand in our area increasing job opportunities across a number of different skillsets and the general economic prosperity of the whole District.
