UK-based property developer Candelisa has secured planning approval for a sustainable rural business community at the Anley Crag Business Park in Settle, the UK.

The Phase 1 of the 150,000ft2 mixed use development is located for in the site between A65 and B6480.

This scheme will be used for a complete range of work environments in a sustainable business community.

More than 35 office and commercial units from 500 to 6,000ft2 will be available to rent or buy.

The plan also features a provision for around 220 parking spaces set in landscaped wildlife habitats.

Candelisa managing director Guy Taylor said: “This is a real boost for the area and the local economy. The employment opportunities the scheme will bring should encourage businesses to remain in the community and talented professionals set up business in this amazing location and help retain the vibrancy of the area and Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The Phase 2 will feature 41, two and three bedroom new homes, which will offer quality affordable housing and will be a part of the total Anley Crag scheme.

Taylor said: “The residential element will help address the chronic shortage of quality housing in the area and we hope our proposals will be looked upon favourably as we finalise the detailed housing design.”
