Construction company BAM has concluded the design and development of a new fifth-form entry secondary school in North West London, UK.

North Brent School is part of Wembley Multi-Academy Trust.

The school will accommodate 1,150 students aged seven to 13 in a new sustainable complex with an interconnected sixth-form block.

This new five-storey school facility includes large contemporary classrooms outfitted with advanced technology.

Learning amenities comprise science laboratories, a library, a sports hall, and a sixth-form common room.

The sixth-form block’s roof incorporates a multi-use games area, maximising the available space on site.

The school’s structure was built with bright cladding to provide an appealing learning environment.

It also generates green energy via its rooftop solar panels.

The country’s Department for Education (DfE) appointed BAM to deliver this project under the DfE’s National Education Framework.

BAM construction director Ewen Hunter said: “The school’s relocation to this exciting new facility will provide the pupils and staff with a modern and sustainable new learning space.

“This project adds to our portfolio of successful education schemes, both in London and across the UK and Ireland, and we’re proud to have played our part in creating a learning environment that will inspire pupils for many years to come.”

Earlier this month, BAM began constructing a new school building for Yeoman Park Academy in Nottinghamshire, UK.
