Avant Homes has acquired a 20-acre site in Great Eccleston, UK, from Duchy Homes for its first new mixed-use development in North West England.

The company secured the land for an undisclosed amount with reserved matters planning permission benefit. It plans to submit a plot substitution application for its house types in March.

Pending planning approval, the company plans to construct 115 energy-efficient homes, designed for practicality, with a gross development value (GDV) of £32m ($40.19m).

The project, named Oakview Quarter, will offer a range of two to five-bedroom homes, catering to diverse customer preferences across various price ranges.

It will also include a new primary school, medical centre, community centre, and spaces for commercial and retail use.

Construction is expected to commence in April 2024.
