Bouygues Construction’s subsidiary Dragages Singapore has secured a €100m contract from United Venture Development, a joint venture between UOL Venture Investments and Singland Homes to build two condominium complexes in Singapore.
The project has been designed by ADDP Architects and is comprised of two 140m, 40-storey tower blocks that will offer 505 apartments with a total floor area of around 46,000m².
To be located on Clementi Avenue, these complexes will have access to the centre of the city, as well as to the Jurong Lake student neighbourhood.
Bouygues Bâtiment International deputy CEO in charge of Asia-Pacific Nicolas Borit said: “We are very proud that our customer, United Venture Development, has shown confidence in us and given us the opportunity to support them in carrying out this project in Singapore.
“The experience in this market acquired by Dragages and the construction system chosen were decisive factors in winning this contract.”
Dragages plans to use a modular construction system based on a reinforced concrete structure, which will enable the complexes to meet the Singapore authorities’ stipulation.

By GlobalDataThe stipulation requires 65% of the superstructure of the towers to employ prefabricated prefinished volumetric construction (PPVC).
Traditional techniques will be used to produce the core of the towers, and with the help of tower cranes a large capacity around 1,900 modules are planned to be installed.
Work on the project is due to begin soon and will last three years, with handover scheduled to take place during the first half in 2019.
