Construction work on the $188m Paris Lariboisiere New Hospital Development: Phase II located in Paris, Ile-de-France, France commenced in Q4 2022. It was announced in Q1 2012.

The project involves the construction of a new hospital building on a 5.1ha area with a gross floor area of 46,300m2 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, Ile-de-France region, France.

The project includes the following:

1. Construction of 489-bed hospital building including 73-bed for critical care
2. Construction of 68 day care places
3. Construction of six interventional rooms
4. Construction of 17 operation rooms
5. Construction of 30 recovery places
6. Construction of an outpatient treatment unit
7. Construction of three MRI rooms
8. Construction of two scanning rooms
9. Construction of six interventional radiology rooms
10. Construction of two gamma cameras units
11. Construction of a maternity unit sized for 3,200 deliveries per year
12. Construction of a general and specialized emergencies with a capacity of 140,000 people per year
13. Construction of a helipad
14. Construction of administrative buildings
15. Construction of a pharmacy
16. Construction of a sterilization unit
17. Construction of access roads
18. Construction of parking facilities

Construction on the project, spread across 5 hectares, is expected to be completed by Q4 2026.
France-based Bernard Desmoulin is the architect and engineering design consultant for the Paris Lariboisiere New Hospital Development: Phase II, while City Council of Paris 10 is the planning authority.
