France-based company Vinci’s IT hiring rose 4.3% in May 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 8.94% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 1.89% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.33% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Vinci IT hiring in May 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Vinci, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.52% in May 2022, and a 10.67% drop over April 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 34.04% in May 2022, and registered growth of 54.84%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 13.48% in May 2022, a 72.73% rise from April 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Vinci

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 98.58% share, which marked an 8.59% rise over the previous month.

Middle East & Africa stood next with 0.71%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 0.71% share and a flat growth over April 2022.

Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 37.59% share in May 2022, a 14.52% decline over April 2022. France featured next with a 21.99% share, up 72.22% over the previous month. Netherlands recorded an 18.44% share, an increase of 766.67% compared with April 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Vinci IT hiring activity in May 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.89%, up by 24.42% from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.57% share, a decline of 23.68% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.55% share, flat growth over April 2022.
