The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 1.45% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.25% share in August 2022, recording an increase of 0.07% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 94.02% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s construction industry in August 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 48.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the US’s construction industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Honeywell International posted 179 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a drop of 1.65% over the previous month, followed by AECOM with 149 jobs and a 2880% growth. Komatsu with 102 IT jobs and Deere with 98 jobs, recorded a 41.67% growth and a 24.05% growth, respectively, while Cummins recorded an increase of 15.19% with 91 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.42%, down by 8.35% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.93% share, registered a decline of 46.15% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.46% share, up 5.52% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.19%, recording a month-on-month decline of 90%.
