The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.61% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.56% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.01% over the last three-month average share.

Top five construction companies in the UK’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 18.8% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of the UK’s construction industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Kier Group posted 34 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 19.05% over the previous month, followed by Danfoss with 33 jobs and a 73.68% growth. Arup Group with 31 IT jobs and The British Land Co with 21 jobs, recorded a 29.17% growth and a 23.53% growth, respectively, while AECOM recorded an increase of 33.33% with 20 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.18%, down by 16.47% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.54% share, registered an increase of 6.06% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 8.77% share, down 20.45% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.51%, recording a month-on-month increase of 25%.
