US-based company The Procter & Gamble’s IT hiring rose 10.1% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 5.13% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 9.56% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 0.66% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Procter & Gamble IT hiring in February 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Procter & Gamble, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.67% in February 2022, and a 60% rise over January 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 16.67% in February 2022, and registered growth of 50%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 5.56% in February 2022, a 300% rise from January 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at The Procter & Gamble

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global consumer IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 37.5% share, which marked a 68.75% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 26.39%, registering a 35.71% month-on-month growth. South & Central America was the third leading region with an 18.06% share and a 44.44% rise over January 2022.

In the fourth place was Asia-Pacific with a share of 16.67% and a month-on-month increase of 300%. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.39%, registering a 66.67% drop over the previous month.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s consumer industry IT hiring activity with a 23.61% share in February 2022, a 30.77% growth over January 2022. Poland featured next with a 19.44% share, up 180% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 12.5% share, an increase of 50% compared with January 2022.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 69.44%, up by 51.52% from January 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.61% share, a growth of 240% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.94% share, down 28.57% over January 2022.
