The industry’s overall hiring increased by 5.08% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.06% share in February 2022, recording an increase of 1.7% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 16.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Mexico’s construction industry during February 2022 over January 2022.
Honeywell International posted 21 IT jobs in February 2022 and registered a drop of 30% over the previous month, followed by Black & Veatch with 8 jobs and a 300% growth. Cummins with 5 IT jobs and Rockwell Automation with 4 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a 33.33% flat growth, respectively, while Eaton Corporation recorded an increase of 300% with 4 job postings during February 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 70%, down by 9.26% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.14% share, registered a decline of 47.83% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10% share, down 36.36% over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.86%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
