Singapore-based company Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust’s IT hiring rose 59.8% in September 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 48.45% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 18.92% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a flat growth over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 66.67% in September 2021, and an 18.18% drop over August 2021, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 10.19% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 45%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.19% in September 2021, a 50% drop from August 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 72.22% share, which marked a 33.33% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 27.78%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline.

Philippines commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 64.81% share in September 2021, a 22.22% decline over August 2021. Canada featured next with a 22.22% share, down 25% over the previous month. US recorded a 5.56% share, a decline of 53.85% compared with August 2021.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 75%, down by 31.93% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 12.96% share, a decline of 44% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 12.04% share, down 31.58% over August 2021.
