The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 8.15% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 5.06% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.28% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Jones Lang LaSalle, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 26.67% in June 2022, and an 11.11% rise over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 26% in June 2022, and registered a decline of 7.14%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 23.33% in June 2022, a 12.9% rise from May 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Jones Lang LaSalle

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 64% share, which marked a 41.18% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 20.67%, registering a 34.04% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 14% share and a 50% drop over May 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.33% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 30% share in June 2022, a 12.5% growth over May 2022. Philippines featured next with a 24% share, up 71.43% over the previous month. US recorded a 20.67% share, a decline of 32.61% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Jones Lang LaSalle IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.67%, down by 10.4% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 15.33% share, a growth of 27.78% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 10% share, down 11.76% over May 2022.
