The industry’s overall hiring increased by 7.11% in March 2022 when compared with February 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.86% share in March 2022, recording a decrease of 0.28% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 65.92% in March 2022, registering a 3.3% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 15.73% share, an increase of 35.48% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 13.11%, registering a 40% rise from February 2022.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 1.87%, down 61.54% over the previous month.
Top five construction companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in March 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 9.6% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s construction industry during March 2022 over February 2022.
Eberspacher Climate Control Systems GmbHKG posted 68 IT jobs in March 2022 and registered a drop of 8.11% over the previous month, followed by Vinci with 27 jobs and a 440% growth. Viessmann Werke GmbHKG with 16 IT jobs and Bilfinger with 15 jobs, recorded a 42.86% decline and a 7.14% growth, respectively, while Erich NETZSCH GmbHHolding KG recorded an increase of 175% with 11 job postings during March 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in March 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 65.54%, up by 0.57% from February 2022. Entry Level positions with an 18.35% share, registered a decline of 15.52% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 16.1% share, up 13.16% over February 2022.
