The industry’s overall hiring increased by 0.69% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.87% share in June 2022, recording a decrease of 0.3% over the last three-month average share.

Top five construction companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in June 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 6.25% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s construction industry during June 2022 over May 2022.
Vinci posted 27 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered a drop of 3.57% over the previous month, followed by Bilfinger with 22 jobs and an 18.52% drop. Viessmann Werke GmbHKG with 19 IT jobs and Eberspacher Climate Control Systems GmbHKG with 14 jobs, recorded a 17.39% decline and a 7.69% growth, respectively, while Liebherr-International recorded an increase of 60% with 8 job postings during June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.6%, down by 18.62% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 20.35% share, registered an increase of 9.38% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.3% share, down 38.46% over May 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.74%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
