The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.62% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 2.56% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 0.28% over the last three-month average share.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 24.44% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of China’s construction industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
Jones Lang LaSalle posted 9 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 28.57% over the previous month, followed by Caterpillar with 7 jobs and a flat growth. Eaton Corporation with 7 IT jobs and Johnson Controls International with 6 jobs, recorded a 40% growth and a 64.71% decrease, respectively, while ABB recorded a decline of 44.44% with 5 job postings during August 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 82.5%, down by 1.49% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 10% share, registered a decline of 52.94% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.5% share, flat growth over July 2022.
