The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 9.71% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 3.71% share in the company’s total hiring activity in May 2022, and recorded a 0.05% growth over the last three-month average share.

Database and Network Administrators and Architects tops Black & Veatch IT hiring in May 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Black & Veatch, Database and Network Administrators and Architects emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 75.65% in May 2022, and a 132.95% rise over April 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 18.45% in May 2022, and registered flat growth. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 5.17% in May 2022, a 600% rise from April 2022.

North America emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in May 2022 with a 99.63% share, which marked a 95.65% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 0.37%, registering a 66.67% month-on-month decline.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 97.79% share in May 2022, a 96.3% growth over April 2022. Mexico featured next with a 1.85% share, up 66.67% over the previous month.

Senior jobs lead Black & Veatch IT hiring activity in May 2022

Senior jobs held a share of 56.83%, flat growth from April 2022. Mid Level positions with a 24.35% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Junior Level job ads with an 18.82% share, down 63.83% over April 2022.
