France-based company Vinci’s IT hiring rose 13.9% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 12.03% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 2.18% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.21% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Vinci IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Vinci, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 70.49% in August 2021, and a 65.38% rise over July 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 22.95% in August 2021, and registered a decline of 6.67%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 4.92% in August 2021, a flat growth from July 2021.

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global construction IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 100% share, which marked a 32.61% rise over the previous month.

Belgium commanded a leading presence in the region’s construction industry IT hiring activity with a 55.74% share in August 2021, a 78.95% growth over July 2021. France featured next with a 29.51% share, down 10% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 9.84% share, an increase of 50% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Vinci IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 93.44%, up by 58.33% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with a 4.92% share, a growth of 200% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 1.64% share, down 88.89% over July 2021.
