The industry’s overall hiring increased by 10.3% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

Out of the construction industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 9.34% share in August 2021, recording an increase of 2.45% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Belgium’s construction industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Belgium’s construction industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 69.44% in August 2021, registering a 108.33% flat growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 25% share, an increase of 12.5% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 5.56%, registering a 100% rise from July 2021.
Top five construction companies in Belgium’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Belgium’s construction industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
Vinci posted 34 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 78.95% over the previous month, followed by Rogers Corporation with 1 job and a flat growth. Bilfinger with 1 IT job .
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 94.44%, up by 100% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with a 5.56% share, registered a decline of 66.67% compared with the previous month.
