SVA Architects has commenced the schematic design phase of Aloha Pacific Center in Kapolei, a city in the US state of Hawaii.
The Aloha Pacific Center is a mixed-use development project being built at a cost of $111.5m.

To be spread over an area of 141,456ft², Aloha Pacific Center is a five-storey Class A office project with high-capacity fibre optic technology and 12ft-14ft ceilings.
The building has an automated parking structure, which is said to be the first of its kind in Hawaii.
SVA Architects president Robert Simons said: "Kapolei has recently experienced rapid growth and has become the central business district on West Oahu."
Simons explained that SVA Architects is playing a part in the growth and is bringing "a unique opportunity for businesses to own their office space to this booming area."

By GlobalDataSVA, along with Swinerton Builders, will provide design and construction services under a single contract.
The businesses can have their own office space in the sustainable building, SVA Architects stated.
Additionally, SVA is designing multiple athletic and music facilities at Farrington High School in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, US, in partnership with Architects Hawaii.
SVA’s other projects include the Kamehameha Community Learning Center at Ma’ili in the Wai’anae District, Oahu.
Earlier this month, SVA Architects has started works on Jordan Downs Phase IA, a public housing project, in Los Angeles, California, US.
The $1bn Phase IA will have 115 rental apartments in 12 buildings.
