Skanska has secured a contract with National Highway Authority of the Czech Republic to construct a highway in Moravský Písek.
The contract is worth €47m (about SEK490m).

The contract value will be recorded by Skanska in the order bookings for Europe in Q3 2022.
It involves construction of the 4.1km section between Moravský Písek and Bzenec, including four bridges and one multi-level crossing.
The project will be funded by the European Regional Development Fund, OP Integrated Infrastructure 2014-2020 and the state budget.
Construction of the highway will commence this month, with completion slated for March 2025.

By GlobalDataA few weeks ago, Skanska secured a contract with National Highways to improve 6.6km of the A46 Newark Bypass in the Midlands region of UK.
The contract is worth $400m (SEK4.3bn), which will be added by the company in its order bookings for Europe in the third quarter of this year.
The project will see delivery of a dual carriageway A46 Bypass, bringing two lanes in each direction, between the Farndon and Winthorpe junctions.
Skanska is also responsible for building a new five-arm roundabout at Winthorpe and traffic lights at Farndon junction to enhance traffic flows during peak time.
Furthermore, the project will see construction of a new bridge over the A1, and installation of a flyover at Cattle Market.
