Emirates has entered into an agreement with Dubai Investments Park to acquire land for the construction of a new Cabin Crew Village, intended to provide accommodation for up to 12,000 airline employees.
The planned development, which represents a multi-billion-dirham investment, will be situated between Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central.

The site aims to support Emirates’ operational requirements and its future transition to Al Maktoum International Airport.
The agreement was formalised by senior representatives from both parties, including Ali Mubarak Al Soori of Emirates and Khalid Bin Kalban of Dubai Investments, along with other executives from the organisations involved.
Construction is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2026, with initial completion targeted for 2029. The project will proceed under a long-term lease arrangement.
Plans for the Cabin Crew Village include 20 residential buildings, each 19 floors high, providing a combination of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

By GlobalDataFacilities within the development are expected to incorporate retail outlets, dining options, fitness centres, clinics and public spaces such as parks.
Landscaped grounds, walking paths and swimming pools will also form part of the community infrastructure.
Each building is set to contain its own dedicated amenities to facilitate resident convenience.

“The Cabin Crew Village will provide everything our crew need within a single, thoughtfully planned development, with convenient access to everyday essentials, leisure facilities and communal spaces that foster a strong sense of community.”
The location and design of the development have been chosen with consideration for both accessibility to key transport hubs and the provision of services required by Emirates’ cabin crew workforce.
