NTS selected ARCO as the design-build partner for the shell and core work.

NTS managing director Matt Ricketts said: “ARCO Design/Build proved to be an outstanding partner in the successful delivery of the 815 Building.

According to ARCO, the tilt-wall construction method, commonly used in industrial and warehouse projects, provided speed and cost advantages.

ARCO said the approach allowed for a shorter delivery schedule and reduced costs compared to traditional steel-frame methods, meeting both design and functional requirements.

ARCO Design/Build Louisville division manager Cody Sunderhaus said: “By taking on project risk early through our design-build approach, we were able to deliver a solution that works for both NTS and the end user.

“It’s about building relationships and finding the right construction method for each unique challenge.”

The 815 Building is part of Heaven Hill’s operations in Louisville, where the company also runs the Bernheim Distillery and the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience.

The new office building facilitates the company’s expansion by increasing its production capabilities and diversifying its range of offerings.

ARCO Design/Build Louisville, Indianapolis, and Columbus CEO Ben Titus said: “As we establish ARCO’s presence in Louisville, projects like this show that our design-build philosophy adapts well to new markets.

“This building demonstrates what’s possible when you combine our construction expertise with genuine collaboration and the right partners.”
