
Sweco, a European architecture and engineering consultancy, has entered a deal with Luxembourg-based companies PROgroup and +ImpaKT to strengthen its circular economy and sustainability services in the Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg (Benelux) region.
This strategic move will add approximately 40 specialists to Sweco’s team in Luxembourg, complementing its existing 110 experts and enhancing the company’s service offerings in the Benelux region.
PROgroup’s effective management and execution of projects is set to enhance Sweco’s integrated project management services.
+ImpaKT specialises in circular economy consultancy, assisting businesses and public sector entities in developing data-driven sustainability strategies.
The company’s work with EU-supported initiatives such as CIRPASS and Onto-DESIDE promotes digital tool development and standards for circular economy practices.
The consultancy addresses the growing demand for circular business models and compliance with EU regulations such as digital product passports and environmental, social, and governance reporting.

Sweco, headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, reported a turnover of approximately €350m. The integration of the acquired companies into Sweco will take place immediately.
The acquisitions are in line with Sweco’s strategy to grow by adding key competencies that complement the expertise of its 22,000-strong workforce.
