JV North, a consortium of 14 housing association members across the north-west region of England, has selected contractors and consultants for its £500m ($679.8m) social house building framework.
The framework, which was procured this January, aims to facilitate the construction of approximately 3,000 homes over the next four years, with work commencing in early August.
Three construction lots were offered, with the first ranging upwards to £4m, the second from £4m to £12m, and the third for projects of £12m and over.
In the first category, the appointed contractors include GK Construction & Project Management, J Greenwood (Builders), John Southworth Builders, M&Y Maintenance and Construction, and several others.
For the mid-range £4m to £12m lot, contractors such as Rowlinson, Seddon Construction, Vistry Partnerships, and Watson Construction were selected while for the £12m and over lot, those chosen include Breck Homes, Eric Wright Construction, and Termrim Construction.
The framework also covers architectural services, with companies such as Arcus Consulting, Bowker Sadler Partnership, and BTP Architects appointed.

By GlobalDataEmployers, agents, engineers, and clerks of works were also procured, with companies such as CPC Project Services, Drees & Sommer, and Tetra Tech chosen for various roles.
Saffer Cooper Consultancy, which oversees JV North’s development programme, led the procurement process with support from Plus Dane Housing’s procurement team and was assisted by law business Trowers & Hamlins.
JV North chair John Bowker said: “Consultants and contractors play an intrinsic part in our success as a consortium, having helped us build over 10,000 homes since forming.
“So we are really pleased with the quality and quantity of tenders received in what is our fourth framework and would like to thank everyone who applied. Competition was fierce with lots heavily oversubscribed.
“JV North is built on the strong foundation of partnership working returning better outcomes and this is certainly the case with our framework where contractors and consultants will help us build 3,000 homes at pace to meet the growing demand for housing across the North West.”
