The City of Carrollton in Texas, US, and its partners have broken ground on Eviva Trinity Mills, a five-storey mixed-use development at Trinity Mills Station.

The property is a mix of residential, retail, and restaurant space, including more than 430 multifamily units and workspaces.

Eviva Trinity Mills is one of the main parts of a 25-acre transit-oriented development delivered by a collaboration between the Carrollton, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (Dart), Koa Partners, Artemis Real Estate Partners, and The Integral Group developers.

Carrollton's urban development director Ravi Shah said: “This is the third monumental milestone of the catalyst Phase I development.

“The first milestone was the approval in April 2020 for a 125,000ft², six-storey class A office structure to serve as the marquee building within the new development, and the second was the three-acre green park esplanade.”

Trinity Mills Station is a new mixed-use urban village within the city, located near the Dart Green Line Transit station and the President George Bush Turnpike toll road.

Carrollton's mayor Steve Babick said: “Trinity Mills Station is the largest publicly owned transit-oriented development site in North Texas and the most connected.

“It is also the only transfer hub in the DFW Metroplex connecting the Denton County Transportation Authority A-Train commuter service to Denton and the Dart Green Line light rail service to Dallas.”
