Toll Brothers Apartment Living, the rental subsidiary of Toll Brothers, has commenced construction on The Airedale, a new luxury multifamily community in Charlotte, North Carolina, US.

This project marks the company's first rental development in the state and is being executed in partnership with International Capital, with financial backing from TD Bank.

The community will feature 348 units across three storeys, offering a variety of one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts. The Airedale is scheduled to open in late 2026.

Toll Brothers Apartment Living president John McCullough said: “We are excited to officially break ground at The Airedale, our first multifamily community in North Carolina.

Each unit will reportedly feature high-end finishes, including quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and smart home technology. Additional features include modular closets, private balconies, and kitchen islands.

Residents will have access to a range of amenities, including an 8,200ft² clubhouse, a pool with a sundeck, and outdoor grilling areas.

Fitness facilities will comprise a 24/7 gym with workout pods, an outdoor fitness space, and a pet park. The community will also offer a coworking suite, a catering kitchen, and a coffee bar.

Located at 13607 Choate Circle, The Airedale is set on a 19.75-acre site in a vibrant area with dining and shopping options such as the RiverGate Shopping Center and Steele Creek Crossing.

The development is conveniently situated near Interstates 77 and 485, providing easy access to South End, Uptown, and regional employment hubs.
