New Holland Construction, a global brand under CNH Industrial, has boosted its offering in the mini excavator sector with the addition of five new diesel-powered models to its D-Series range.
The new machines E12D, E19D, E30D, E38D, and E60D bring the total number of D-Series mini excavators to nine, including two previously released electric models, the E15X and E25X.
In addition, the excavators join the earlier launched E42D and E50D diesel variants, which were released last year.
With these additions, New Holland now covers three main machine classes, including compact, mid-size, and large.
The compact class includes the E12D and E19D, which are intended for tasks in confined sites such as residential areas and landscaping projects.
These lighter machines feature retractable tracks and a smaller operational footprint designed for use in tight locations.
The E19D offers further options such as a heated cab and hydraulic power sufficient to support high-demand attachments.
In the mid-size segment, the E30D and E38D target contractors requiring flexibility for a range of tasks from urban construction to light demolition, with the 3.5-metric-ton E38D providing a mix of power and portability.
From the E38D upward, operators can select an optional six-way blade for increased control during grading work.
The largest model in the new lineup is the E60D, which is engineered for more intensive site work and offers increased hydraulic capacity, advanced cab options, and compatibility with high-demand attachments such as mulchers.
This model features heating and air conditioning, an air-suspension seat, and enhanced lighting and visibility designed for extended operation on demanding sites.
New Holland Construction North America product marketing manager Dan Kakareka said: “With the expansion of the D-Series Mini utility and heavy-use operators.”
The entire lineup of machines is equipped with standard features such as first and second auxiliary hydraulics, pattern changers, rear-view cameras, LED work lights, and a zero-tail swing design.
These features enable operators to work safely and efficiently in confined spaces.
Additionally, all models, except for the E12D, offer cab options, providing enhanced comfort and protection for users across the majority of the range.
The D-Series supports a wide range of attachments, with compatibility for CNH-branded buckets, thumbs and couplers, as well as various industry-standard tools such as hammers, compaction plates, grapples, augers, mowers and mulchers.
The D-Series mini excavators feature automotive-style cabs with adjustable controls and allow operators to save attachment settings.
For maintenance, all models have tiltable cabs or canopies for access to hydraulic components, and larger models include reversible cooling fans and an electric fuel pump.
“We’re proud to bring a complete mini excavator offering to our current customers and to introduce a new generation of operators to New Holland Construction through these machines.
“Whether it’s a first-time buyer, a growing rental fleet or a seasoned contractor, these machines are built to perform in a way that keeps customers coming back and getting hooked on the D-Series,” Kakareka added.
