Meraas, a part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has appointed Parkway International Contracting as main contractor for the latest phase of City Walk Crestlane in Dubai, awarding a construction contract valued at more than Dh590m ($160m).

The contract covers the delivery of 394 residential units across four buildings under Phase 3 of the development.

Construction work has already commenced, and the project is scheduled for completion by the third quarter (Q3) of 2028.

City Walk Crestlane is designed to expand City Walk’s walkable, urban environment with a mix of contemporary homes, landscaped public spaces and water features.

The development aims to offer residents amenities such as swimming pools, a fitness centre, sports facilities, a floating clubhouse and an outdoor cinema.

Its central Dubai location also offers convenient access to Downtown Dubai, Jumeirah Beach, DIFC, Sheikh Zayed Road and Dubai International Airport.

Dubai Holding Real Estate CEO Khalid Al Malik said: “Crestlane’s continued expansion reflects sustained demand for design-led urban living in central Dubai.

“This main construction award advances the next stage of delivery, building on City Walk’s distinctive combination of high-quality homes and an established walkable urban environment.”

Parkway International Contracting managing partner Tarek Zoabi said: “We are proud to deepen our partnership with Meraas through the delivery of this latest phase of City Walk Crestlane. Our teams are focused on maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and programme management throughout construction.

“We look forward to applying our technical expertise to support the development of Crestlane and contribute to the continued evolution of one of Dubai’s most recognised urban destinations.”

In addition to the main contract, groundworks for the new phase began last month.

International Foundation Group has been awarded the contract to carry out site preparation for two residential buildings in Phase 3.

The scope of work includes excavation, dewatering, soil improvement, and the design and construction of shoring and piling systems.

City Walk Crestlane’s ongoing development aims to balance contemporary architecture with open green spaces, emphasising walkability and community-centred living.

Earlier this year, Meraas awarded main construction contracts worth a combined Dh2.4bn for the next phases of its Dubailand villa developments, The Acres and The Acres Estates.
