GCC Contracting has secured a contract worth nearly Dh1bn ($272m) from Meraas for Phase 7 of the Nad Al Sheba Gardens development in Dubai.
The contract covers the construction of 272 homes, comprising 130 villas with four to seven bedrooms and 142 three-bedroom townhouses.
GCC Contracting will also deliver pool houses, utilities and associated infrastructure works under the agreement.
Construction has started on site, according to Meraas, which expects the phase to be completed during the second quarter of 2028.
Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, said the new villas and townhouses are designed around contemporary layouts, using natural materials and interiors intended to provide space and daylight.
The phase adds to the community’s housing supply for local and international buyers seeking modern homes with access to planned amenities.

The Nad Al Sheba Gardens is located ten minutes from Downtown Dubai and is easily accessible to Meydan Racetrack, Dubai International Airport and other leisure destinations.
The gated community will feature walking, cycling and running tracks, children’s play areas, multi-sport facilities, swimming pools and yoga lawns, Meraas said.
Residents also have access to retail and dining outlets at Nad Al Sheba Gardens Mall.
