The company's order in the Middle East is said to be its first within the region.
The development is set to update the Brent Spence Bridge, which was originally built in 1963.
The development will contribute towards the realisation of UN SDG 4 and 10.
Temporary classrooms will be built in the adjoining college's car park during the building's closure.
The development will feature a 455-space parking garage with added electric vehicle charging stations.
If built, the facilities are expected to create approximately 100,000 jobs.
The renovated buildings on the site will be used to accommodate the university's long-term industrial partners.
The facility will receive an investment of more than $65m from Leonardo and will include four large hangar bays.
