
Waves Group has secured the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) contract for constructing the second phase of the Dogger Bank Wind Farm project – Dogger Bank B.
The company is currently providing MWS services for Dogger Bank A.
Dogger Bank Wind Farm is a 3.6GW project being built in three phases – A, B and C, with each phase of 1.2GW.
Once complete, the entire wind farm will be able to power six million homes and help in transitioning to net zero carbon emissions.
The 2.4GW Dogger Bank A and B phases are a joint venture between SSE Renewables (40%), Equinor (40%) and Eni (20%). The project is situated 130km off the coast of England.
Waves Group has supplied MWS services to many offshore wind farm projects across the UK, Europe and Asia such as, Triton Knoll, Horns Rev 3, Galloper, Beatrice, Seamade, Formosa 1 Phase 2, all of which are currently operational.
