Earlier, the construction firm built the 2 and 3 Glass Wharf in Temple Quarter for Salmon Harvester Properties.

The 3 Glass Wharf is located adjacent to Temple Meads train station, overlooking Bristol city centre’s floating harbour within the Temple Quarter Enterprise zone.

The latest development forms part of Bristol City Council’s Temple Quarter project, which aims to regenerate a 100ha land around Temple Meads station with housing, shops and hospitality outlets.

In September 2021, Wates Group started construction on some of the UK’s first net-zero schools, as part of the US Department for Education’s (DfE) ten-year Schools Rebuilding Programme.

The schools include Whitworth Community High School, Lytham St Annes High School, and Littleborough Community Primary School and Nursery.
