PlanRadar, an Austria-based digital construction, real estate, and facilities management platform provider, has announced a partnership with Axis Building Envelope.
The collaboration introduces PlanRadar’s digital management tools to Axis’ operations.
Through this, Axis intends to transform the way it reports on complex residential and commercial building projects, progress tracking, and collaboration techniques.
Axis, a US-based architectural and engineering company, supports envelope design and construction projects across the residential and commercial building sectors.
Previously, Axis claims to have faced challenges in delivering client reports, with delays of up to two months.
This is noted to have affected its ability to respond quickly and manage follow-up workflows effectively.

By GlobalDataPlanRadar’s digital suite, with its plan-based ticketing system, now enables Axis to produce high-quality PDF reports within days.
The platform’s real-time updates and customisable checklists have also improved Axis’ project oversight and inspection management.
These tools have facilitated better communication within teams, providing detailed information, including floor plans and precise locations, for ticket resolution.
Axis senior waterproofing consultant Kevin Moultrie said: “With PlanRadar, an eight-hour inspection is reduced to five thanks to the ability to visit the site, record observations in real time, then spend more time on thoroughness.
“Once done, the project manager takes over for the final review. It really does streamline our workflow significantly.”
The company is now extending the use of PlanRadar to include its subcontractors and third-party participants, further accelerating the speed of task assignment and resolution.
This collaboration comes after PlanRadar revealed its upcoming AI-powered SiteView feature, aimed at enhancing the platform’s documentation, communication, and reporting capabilities last month.
This feature intends to help users capture 360-degree imagery of their projects while navigating the site.
