Phelps Construction Group has completed the Grammy Museum Experience at the Prudential Centre located in Newark, New Jersey, US.

Located on the ground level of the centre, the 8,200ft2 museum includes educational programming and interactive exhibits, enabling guests to play instruments and learn mixing of songs.

Additionally, the museum features a permanent collection, including a Jersey-centric display of select artists, along with travelling collections.

Phelps Construction Group president Douglas Phelps said: “It was an honour to work with the Prudential Centre on this project and we are excited to be part of bringing Grammy music history to the east coast.”

Founded in 2007, the firm delivers pre-construction, construction management and design-build services, as well as completed various commercial, industrial and institutional projects.

Phelps also recently started construction of the Statue of Liberty Museum on Liberty Island in New York.
