Nicol Investment company has announced plans for a $200m mixed-use development, Upland Park, in Huntsville, Alabama, the US.
The 60-acre project, situated on Enterprise Way at Cummings Research Park, will include multifamily and senior-living residences, office, entertainment, restaurants, and retail space along with public green spaces.

It will be anchored by HQ, which is being co-developed with Vintage South. HQ will include more than 80,000ft2 of creative office and over 20,000ft2 of retail, and restaurant space.
Upland Park’s master plan includes Vitality at Upland Park, a 189-unit senior living project; The Kelvin, a 301-unit apartment community; and The Collins, a 334-unit multifamily community.
The Collins will feature 150 one and two-bedroom and three-bedroom big house units, which are designed by Humphreys & Partners.

For HQ, Centric Architecture is working as the architect and Doster Construction serving as the general contractor.
ESA is the architect and DeAngelis Diamond is working as the general contractor for Vitality at Upland Park and Humphreys & Partners is designing The Collins with TriBridge Residential serving as the general contractor.
JHP is serving as the architect for The Kelvin with EMJ Construction appointed ass the general contractor.
