British construction firm Rydon has won two projects for new-build, refurbishment and redevelopments in London and South East England, with a combined value of £20m.
The first of the two contracts is worth £7m for Lea Bridge House in East London.

Scope of the project, which has been awarded by Paradigm Housing, includes redevelopment of a ten-storey hostel for homeless people.
Two single-storey sections of the existing ten-storey tower will be demolished to set-up the two new hostel blocks.
Bedrooms and communal facilities will also be added to the development.
The second contract has been awarded by The Hyde Group for Frognal Place in Sidcup, as a £6.1m refurbishment project aimed to fit out and reconfigure 82 apartments across 11 blocks in the building into 84 two and three-bed accommodations.

By GlobalDataThe building, which was originally built to provide NHS accommodation for staff based at the nearby Queen Mary’s Hospital, will be modified for shared ownership and intermediate rented accommodations.
Rydon Maintenance managing director Jeff Henton said: "Securing this work is testament to Rydon’s track record and versatility in the residential sector, particularly across London and the South East.
"We look forward to delivering quality new homes, which in turn, will improve the provision of affordable and sheltered housing in these communities."
